Five College Outdoor Festival

Now in its sixth year, the Five College Outdoor Festival in Amherst, Massachusetts returns on March 2 – 3 with a variety of presentations and activities.

Participate in cycling and climbing seminars, compete on the indoor climbing wall, learn kayaking technique in the pool, take in a presentation on climbing El Capitan, and race in time trials on cycle simulators.

The highlight of the weekend is Saturday’s screening of the Mountainfilm in Telluride Festival World Tour films. These dozen short documentaries present social and environmental issues and adrenaline-provoking adventures. See this blog’s review of the Mountainfilm tour.
