Mountainfilm in Telluride is a film festival focusing on activism, culture, environment, and extreme adventure. Held annually in Telluride, Colorado, since 1979, the best of the prize-winning films are on tour and will soon be coming to the Northeast. From September to November and in February, the road show will visit Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and New York. Look at the upcoming schedule.
This Mountain Travel & Rescue Enhancement Seminar reinforces the skills needed to rig and operate low angle rope rescue systems. The ski patroller shall master an understanding of the theory behind the science of rope rescue and the ability to apply that knowledge. The Instructor of Record is Matt Speier.
